What is up Tnet..

Got out to a couple of cellars this past week and was able to scratch out some goodies:icon_thumleft:
Traveled over to CT and met up with Fred "Mr Electric" scouring the woods for a cellar hole..Could not find it but huge walls everywhere:icon_scratch:

So we happened upon a real crude looking small cellar and off we went..Was able to the cutest lil shoe buckle ever:D:D

I mean this must have been a lil 2 year old Colonial:laughing7:

Then i grabbed a beauty of a Colonial button:headbang:

Not much else there i think that was all they had..

Next i went on a random roam throught the woods..Came upon a real cheezy looking wall..On the way down the hill i grabbed a good 90 on the vdi...That is what you want to see out in the woods:icon_thumright:
Out pops a 1816 large cent..Then another large cent right next to that:thumbsup:

Then another signal that turned out to be a 1784 Spanish silver:headbang:Then the beauty of a Rosette next to that:headbang::headbang:

Maybe the dude fell of his horse there:laughing7:

I also grabbed a big ole Dandy button..

A Canadian largie and some kind of 5 token thingy..

Have fun out there:hello:

Blaze

I thought that was a Canadian cent! great finds!! I was going to comment on it and then I seen this comment.

Nice stuff as usual JB. Do I detect a hint of counterfeit on that Spanish?

Thats funny you say that something does not look exactly right around the edges..

I was thinking that when i was cleaning it,,

Ill give it another look.

If it is a counterfeit its a real good one..

Is the spanish silver plated? Looks off...or is that just tarnish?

Nice hunt Johnny. Looks like a fun area to hunt and you have shown it's potential. Nice relics for sure.

really nice stuff. beautiful rosette and buttons, one of the largest I've seen.
the last two buckle frames I've recovered have been baby size too..
Thought that Spanish didn't look right, period copies are better than 'Real' ones imo :laughing7:
late teen coppers lookin good
My sites look just like yours, too bad my finds don't :laughing9:

Congrats on a superb group of recoveries !!!

really looks like a cool area to dig......congrats and HH

Envious as per usual JB- Nice nice hunt!

JohnnyBlaze!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well looks like you had an awesome hunt. Congrats to you..........................HH

I must admit every year its getting harder and harder to find good Colonial sites...

Only the strong will survive now..

wow fantastic digs JB, your cellar holes are so much nicer and plentiful than the ones we have up here, but i did just accidentally stumbled upon an open stone lined well last weekend and hope to hit it in the spring. hope to get down there one day.
