The Central Coast Treasure hunters Assocition (CCTHA) had their annual hunt this weekend in Nipomo CA. the event was covered by LIFE Magizine (see the Aug 26th edition) . My wife and I scored the 4 walking rounds plus 20 or so in cash from the night partners hunt. The 2 have I got today in the finders keepers hunt. It was a realy great time had by all.

I have got to get off my behind and attend one of these things! ;)

It's fun Omni, but can also get a little expensive. I attend about 4-6 a year and depending on the # of hunts each one puts on, it can run from $65-$140 plus traveling expenses. The average one I go to is about $80 but lots of prizes and even quite a few brand new detectors.
I'm starting to wear the TNET t-shirt at them, so if you see the shirt just walk over and shout. Mainly, I' at ones in Okla. and Texas.
