Not a new Tnet viewer but am a new member, need some opinions on this stone slab (possible a grave slab) found at the bottom of a cave shaft. Completely overgrown but not the only cave at this sight, however bizarrely the deepest, most difficult of the caves contained this extreme lying heavy and large limestone block, the block was cut from a local quarry but why would anyone put in the work to move this heavy stone and to carefully place it flat at the cave bottom. I scraped the top to find a inscription, it was completely covered in green moss and a partial cave in looks 200+ years old

Secondly I was told a story indicated in the areal photograph of a massive cave system and multiple banana holes being across from the pirate steps at Clifton but was covered by the oil tanks, gas tanks in the BEC sight. If any old timers have seen these caves that would be very impressive and would love to hear about it.

Maybe it was just bulldozed into the hole to fill it. Dump site? Maybe to keep people from getting in trouble in a cave?

The sight was a fenced off property, abandoned and not built up, the many caves around it are prestine and untouched the location was a former slave plantation and a fort located near by, the limestone slab is pre 1900s for sure i think if a bulldozer dumped it there woulda been more evidence of rubble at the bottom around the slab was pretty neatly kept
