Well had a friend call me and tell me some guy was on the boulveard in front of my house metal detecting (which is city property) so I went and geared up and grabbed my metal detector while he was still there. The dirt was all dug up because all the water pipes were replaced on my road so all the dirt had been moved around. I walk out there about 20 feet from him and start searching. My first dig was a 1955 D wheatie, a 1969 D Dime, and a 1957 D Nickel. Must of been a small coinspill. Well he comes over, and I ask find anything good? And he said nope just trash. We chatted for a while, and I found out he works for the city (he wasn't working then) and I asked him about the city regulations. He told me I can detect anywhere on public property, except for the schools, and if I wanted to walk up the the City Hall's Landscaping and start digging, I legally could. Well didn't end up finding anything else, but we had a good conversation. I'm still wondering what he though when I walked out of my house geared up to beat him to the finds
