Catahoula Heartbreaker

Greetings,

Been out for a while and haven't had time to do much looking. Its not often that I get physically ill when I find a broken point, but this one truly made me sick. Its a small point as they go, but for a Catahoula it would have been practically perfect in every way except for the half inch broken off the tip....of all the words known to men, the worst by far, what might have been......I have a few perfect ones, but this would have been SO nice...notice the red color obtained by heat treating and the really fine chipping....I must stop, tearing up again.

I feel for ya bro.
I found this fluted point 2 years ago and it still tears me up when ever I look at it.
I'm gonna have it restored before much longer.
