what are these? they are glass , heavy and approximately 50 years old so made around 1969-70. does anyone have any idea?

It's great that you have the full set of pieces (or at least I think you have the full set).
If these are Victorian pieces by Molineaux Webb & Co then they will be marked as such on the base and the mark should include the design registration number 29780. If not, these are later copies produced after expiry of the registration. Could you image the mark please?

Just checked, and it seems there were four pieces... a circular one, a straight wall, a curved wall, and a corner turret which you could assemble as desired and also add to by buying addition sections.
