I live on 22 acres north of Camas, Washington. There is a small creek that flows through the property. I thought a good place to do some metal detecting would be along the banks of the creek because I thought the bank could be a dump site. Sure enough I found lots a metal, bottles, broken dishes, broken glass, and broken cast iron toys. The photographs shown a cast iron ice wagon, cast iron locomotive, cast iron oil truck, and most of the "neat" metal collected from the dump site. Shown in the photograph is a bolt cutter patented in 1892, clothes wringer from the late 1880", and a meat chopper patented in 1883. 001.JPG002.JPG003.JPG
