Land Anchor? No. ;D The straight end appears to be designed to go into or between something, perhaps to lift it.
But I don't understand the other end with the T shape. It also seems to be designed in a similar way. With a attaching or lifting purpose.

I tend to agree with trk5capt...Looks Like It Could Be An Old Wood Or Coal Stove Tool,
but would like to suggest that maybe it could be an old Dutch Oven lid lifter, the old dutch ovens had hot coals on the lid and the lifters were designed with a "T" handle so that you wouldn't drop the ashes in the cooked food.

that's just a guess .... no research to back it up ....
