Cast iron figure

Looks like a recent Hobby Lobby or sold at a Cracker Barrel restaurant stuff to me. An ultra simple search of "painted cast iron amish figures" yields many to choose from. https://www.google.com/#q=painted+cast+iron+amish+figures&tbm=shop My guess is these come from China, based on how simply the face is painted and lack of casting details. There are a few online sellers fraudulently claiming them as old antiques from the 1920's I've noticed in my search. The prices I see for these online are all over the board. How much did you spend on it?

So this little Amish boy didn't say "Beer bottle opener" when you first saw him? :occasion14:

It reminds me of a photograph I saw in someone's home in Pennsylvania. You know the Amish don't like to be photographed... This was a picture taken from a few hundred feet away from a one-room Amish school. There were boys running about and playing as you would expect from schoolboys - except one. He was staring directly at the camera and giving the finger with both hands. The photo was entitled "The Finger" as you might have already guessed.

Ever watch those shows Amish Mafia and Breaking Amish? My wife grew up south of Erie, PA and there were Amish all around her hometown area, so she likes watching those shows. Down in southern Colorado they've been moving into that area over recent years. I could sure go back to the horse and buggy days and I think I'd get around the Denver metro in just about the same time it take creeping along as you do in bumper to bumper rush hour traffic. I wonder who taught that kid how and when to give the finger??

As 'whs07' wrote: Wilton Products.
Wilton Products was located in Wrightsville, PA between 1930 and1969.
In 1969 they moved to Mount Joy, PA where they were bought out by John Wright, which still operates today.
