Cast Indian Head, Any Idea's?
I found this a few week's ago, about 10 inche's down, I know it's a Lead Casting of an Indian Head, It's about 2 1/4 high and would have been about the same width had it been complete. It has a hole that is centered under the bust about 3/8 diameter but no sign of being threaded. I have a couple of thot's on what is is, Possibly a old Pontiac or Tractor ornament, or maybe an end of an old wood stove utensil, But as for the latter, I wouldn't think they would use lead on something for a wood stove? BTW, The field where i found it is an old indian burial ground....Any Idea's?
