Dug the big brass thing from under a downed tree in the woods. It's 15 1/2 inches long and weights 5 pounds on the bathroom scale.
The other two brass things are 3 1/2 inches long and 7/8 wide. I took one apart to see what was inside it. These were found a few feet away.

I have no Idea of their size but the two items pictured below the lever look like fuel injectors
Thanks Old Dog but the top is solid brass almost like wire and looks like a thermal couple with wire wrapped around it. Than at the bottom a spring and the bottom small fitting has 2 small holes in it, the side and the bottom. I thought some kind of spark plug.
This area may have been bulldozed at one time many years ago.

Maybe a heat sensing device. No hole in the top for fuel to pass through.

Yeah, the first part looks like a kick starter for a small engine, maybe a washing machine or the cushman suggested. The others look like pressure relief valves of some sort.

Thanks cheese. I have seen the old Maytag washing machines and if I remember they had a cast iron kick starter.

I talked to an older guy and he thought it looked like a cable tightener.
I thought maybe some type of break locking device also thought maybe of an old jack.

Agree. It looks like a parking brake pedal - maybe off an old tractor or something.

I agree foot pedal but its hard to imagine a 5 pound brass kick starter lever. It also has a limited gear tooth distance. Parking brake is a possibility but it must be very old.

I'd be thinking for a High Postion Jack Stand myself.Thought about foot operated log spliter first but relized they work a hydralic cylinder & don't look the same.So Jack stand is where I'm at. :laughing7:
Take Care,
Pete, :hello:

Being brass makes it kinda odd to me.I almost think I remember a barber chair with foot pedals like that. But it's been awhile ago now. :icon_scratch: :icon_scratch: :icon_scratch: I do think in the end it will turn out to be something to jack or hoist with as I've been around alot of equipment & never seen nothing that I recall haveing brass foot pedals.

The two "things" look like some kind of valve, I'm almost certain I've seen those before, have to go to work now, but maybe I'll remember.....
