Landed a short-term job on my days off from work for an R&D project. For a few days, I was flown from South Florida to Providence, Rhode Island and from there, drove almost 400 miles back and forth across Rhode Island and eastern Massachuttes. Spent a few days in hotels and had to fly home. I spotted some superb colonial property near a few small towns. I may be asked to continue this project in forthcoming weeks in same area and plan to extend the trip, if possible and bring my detector. There were detecting opportunities everywhere, such as several construction sites. One place, along tracks, I took a little time to eyeball signs of early occupancy. I can never get to it all so I will send a heads-up regarding Salem, Mass. I drove through there and noticed they are tearing up sidewalks on Main Street. I will not be able to return to that area so go for it. Good luck.... (btw--not sure where on forum to post this so I thought I'd place it here due to high volume viewing...)
