Cashed in my clad today for the past year.

Look on the bright side. At least the Ace 250 is paid for. Another 3 months and you'll have a tankful of gas. ;)

Go buy yourself something nice Monty.
That's a lot of work to find all that.
Nice total there my friend!

I have been building the state quarter collection from my finds this year,
did you by chance do that before you cashed them?

Smiles!

Monty,

getting out, enjoying yourself, and a few
bucks on the side.

Good for you with that $223, its all extra. :o

Make sure you let the wife know, so she will
not be upset when you buy that new detector
you have been looking at ;)

have a good un..............

thats a decent chunk of change! not too shabby for doing something that you love to do anyway!

I've been saving mine for the last 3 years.Including my daily clad from my pockets ,it added up to just under a thousand. And I used a couple hundred in quarters last year after "Wilma".I'm paying for my vacation with it this year! Well, most of it.I love clad.

I like the idea some here have of using my clad to buy silver coins as an investment. I am gonna start hoarding silver! lol Any ideas as to the best places to purchase silver coins?
If you just want silver coins for weight and regardless of condition,go to a local coin show.I picked up 10 morgans last week for 11 dollars each.3 of them were 1921-AU.The others were all AG but they came out of the same pile.Of course if you want investment quality professionally graded coins, then I would search the auction houses in your area for good deals.Sometimes even pawn shops don't really know what they have either, check there too.Dealers want too much.

I'm going to Remington Park tomorrow and waste my clad money on the ponies. Sometimes I lose but I usually pay for my trip. Wish me luck. Some say it's skill, but in my case it's pure luck! Monty

8th race ,4 horse ,Silver Fortune,7-2,sounds like a winner to me! Of course you could go for a longshot and say the 1 horse in the 9th race, Silver Town at 15-1.I don't see any gold in there! Good luck Monty! ;)

Monty,

focus on 2 or 4 horse. ::)
Or, any horse with one eye. ;D

Sure to drive you crazy at the track.

have a good un............

Wow, Monty. You did much better than I did. I think my clad added up to......a whopping $10.00. Maybe I should change my strategies! :D

Monty, you still had to bend over many times for that loot. WTO. I would tell people it's not about how much you've found. If you want profit that they should get a job. I haven't counted mine yet.............

HH,
Sandman

WTG Monty...what a nice total...enjoy the fruits of your labor and keep on hunting!!

I'm curious, did you win anything at the track Monty? I hope you didn't take my advice.I see my horse came in dead last in the 8th and the other got scratched in the 9th!That's why I don't do the ponies.lol Take Care.

Good Job Monty!

Just think, if all you did was play golf, all you would have to show for your efforts would be a bunch of scorecards, and a lot less change in your pocket.

I didn't see any one eyed horses but I saw several that I suspect only had 3 legs. Unfortunately I bet on all of them! It's been three days and I think they're still waiting on one of them to come in! ;) I only picked one winner all day! 3 to 1 odds on a ten dollar bet get doesn't pay much. That nag started out 12 to 1 but by post time he was at 3 to 1. Apparently everyone knew something except me! I had a lot of fun though. Went with my wife, son and daughter-in-law. My wife picks 5 horses out of a six horse race, bets ten bucks and gets back $3.40 and claims she won! At the end of the day she bet a hundred bucks, won back $25.00 and comes home a winner! I still haven't figured it out? ??? I'm not saying how much I dropped though! ::) Monty

Kay picked you did't she? Guess she's doin' somethin' right. ;)

Monty,

Can't get anywhere if you don't take a risk.

As to your wife being a mathematical genious...she probably goes to sales every day and after spending hundreds, figures she saving you thousands...go figure!

Take her to the Fishermans Grotto on the wharf and have a dinner on me ::)...best seafood to be found on the coast.

Be sure to send me a bill...I use the same banker as your wife.

Must have money in the account because she still has blank checks.
