I want Becky's Job....and never more than after watching last nights show.....I am sitting there thinking....That job should have been mine mine mine ....I think I will write to the producers right now and tell them if Becky wants to quit ....then they NEED me! Hahahahahah

Re: Cash & Treasures TV show has Tesoro Tejons hunting relics

I saw all Tesoros, Minelabs and one Whites XLT.
I think the reason you kept seeing Tesoros is that TR and his brother use them quite a bit, and Becky was pretty much with them the whole time.
Tons of Minelabs being carried around in the background, most looked like XS models.

Surprisingly, I didn't see any Naughtys out there.

Re: Cash & Treasures TV show has Tesoro Tejons hunting relics

I tivo'ed it and just watched it.
They were hunting about 3 miles from my house.

Re: Cash & Treasures TV show has Tesoro Tejons hunting relics

I missed the show last nite. Anybody know what day(s) they rerun past episodes? (on Insite Cable)

Saturday, 3 PM Central Time. Been burning it on DVD--when done, will dub to VHS, then delete the commercials when burning it back to DVD.

...................................and then for a small fee will send to Tnet friends?

Re: Cash & Treasures TV show has Tesoro Tejons hunting relics

Yep, I noticed all the Tesoros, too. Wonder if Tesoro will compensate those users in any way...I think they should.

The episodes of Cash & Treasures shows should be available on DVD, don't ya think so? I'd buy a complete set or annual set, which ever the case may be. Those shows are great to watch. Whenever I catch the rerun on Saturday, I notice something I missed on Tuesday night. There are some places I'd suggest to Becky, but she never asks me. LOL Silly woman. I bet we could all take her out on a treasure hunting adventure that she'd long remember. ;D ;D ;D

Maybe Jeffro should invite her along on the March trip to the Grants Pass/Wolf Creek area of Oregon? That would be a real hoot.

Re: Cash & Treasures TV show has Tesoro Tejons hunting relics

Thanks for the info Stoney. This was the first episode that I missed.

Re: Cash & Treasures TV show has Tesoro Tejons hunting relics

They were digging huts, not finding buttons 2 or 3 foot deep with the Tejon. They look for deep iron hits in all metal mode, then dig down looking for evidence of a hut. Once your close to the charcoal / brick layer, you can start finding good finds with a detector.

Re: Cash & Treasures TV show has Tesoro Tejons hunting relics

Hey Stoney,
I have the media center in my computer. I have copied these programs and replayed them ok. I tried to copy them to a blank dvd, but they won't copy. Can you give me some advice. I went exactly by the instructions. Could it be they are copywrit and can't be copied or maybe I have some bad blank dvds. I tried 4 different ones.
Thanks to anyone who can help me out.
Clayton

Re: Cash & Treasures TV show has Tesoro Tejons hunting relics

Clayton, I'm not using that newfangled computer technology to do the recording. LOL I'm using a Panasonic DVD/VCR player/recorder that dubs both ways. I picked it up from a friend who has more money than sense and he let me have it for $50. He paid about $400 for it a year or so ago and never used it. :o

Re: Cash & Treasures TV show has Tesoro Tejons hunting relics

Hey Ya'll, I may have missed it,but where and when can I catch the show?
Thanks!

Re: Cash & Treasures TV show has Tesoro Tejons hunting relics

every so often the Travel Channel Will
Air Cash & Treasure for several hours
in a row. However this Particular show
is always left out of the Mix.

Re: Cash & Treasures TV show has Tesoro Tejons hunting relics

When I lived in VA I used to hunt the Fredricksburg area quit a bit, actually between Fredricksburg and Manassas, all up and down Rt 1. The soil around there has very heavy mineralization and allot of iron. I was talking to my local dealer here about all the Tesoro's being used in that hunt. He is a dealer for Garrett, Minelab, Whites and Tesoro. I don't know this for fact because I do not own a Tesoro (yet) but he told me the reason for so many was that the Tesoro's can pick out buttons, bullets etc in that soil better than any other. He also said that the people you saw using Tesoros use them specifically for that purpose but use other brands when not hunting those conditions. He knows some of those guys in that hunt and says a few of them went out and bought Tesoros to hunt with when they saw how well they were doing, and said they were owners of Whites and Minelabs. He wasn't trying to push one on me, he never does and I don't have that nasty dirt around here anyway. Can you imagine if someone could take all the good stuff from every machine and put it in one! Of course then we would all have the same machine. Then what would argue about? HH
Oh, one more thing. There were Two MXT's, One XLT and three DFX's there.

TR is a die hard Tejon swinger. He knows that machine fowards and back and doesn't swing anything else unless he has too (competition hunts and such). I forget how many he has now, 3 ?

Re: Cash & Treasures TV show has Tesoro Tejons hunting relics

I see where they're going to be starting the 2nd Season pretty soon but they've replaced Becky but for a good reason. She's got a couple of treasures of her own on the way--twins. LOL The way she was traveling across the country, I didn't figure she'd have the time. The new host is Kirsten Gum who's already finished at least one filming of the new season.

I think I know why, But won't mention it here
as it could cause problems.

I'm sure it has nothing to with archie's ;D. Of course I would never say that members of tnet have more of a love of history and are more of the true archeologist's in this country than anyone....never mind, I won't finish that thought. The travel channel has done an incredible job with this series and with the the other series that had the best places to find hidden treasures. I still want to find Nevada black fire opal(8 hour drive from my home), and those emeralds in North Carolina made my head spin. That man that went hundreds of thousands into debt and found the mother lode worth millions in emeralds on his family's land is an incredible treasure story of epic proportion.
