It was a rainy day in Pittsburgh today, so I took the AT Pro out to the little league baseball field by my house. I left the Etrac and V3i at home. There is an old schoolhouse from the 1850's next to the baseball fields, and I hit on some old things that made their way out to the areas around the fields. I was out for about 2 hours.
I searched the area around the concession stand, and where people put chairs out along the baselines. I found 61 clad tokens but no silvers! Today was 'dime-day' as I hit for 24 dimes. I also found an old rusted out military pin. then found a battling cage token for some place in Oregon, and it looks like the token got clipped by a lawn mower. I also found something very interesting.....!
It is a Cascarets laxative token from the 1930's. It was a novelty token. Whats funny is on one side it says 'heads I win' and on the other side it says 'tails you lose'. It's always fun to find something intersting. It came up as a quarter on the AT Pro, which I run in Pro Mode.
