How about including additional information such as height, width, type of wood, where purchased, and possibly additional close-up foto's of front back sides, and the like.

It's about 20 inches tall and about 5 inches in width at the widest (base). I don't know what kind of wood or anything about it. My husband found it at a construction project.

Just thought someone might recognize the type of carving.

Think it's hand carved souvenir from somewhere like Mexico. Have seen things like that sold on the border.

To me it seems to be of SE Asian origin. Possibly, Indonesia, Java, Bali , Thai? etc. Not sure of age. The carving looks to be crude and might be decorative. But I would have to do more research before making a decision what it is.

It appears to me to be in traditional Thai dancer's costume and holding an eggplant (aubergine) which is used extensively in Thai cuisine.

Edit: Assuming it is from Thailand, it will be highly possible that the wood is teak.
