Cartridge box?

OK, here is my latest what is it. Found on a site where we have recovered everything from Rev War artifacts and 1810-1850 war artifacts. Last find of the day and hoping this one is a winner-

It reads- "Co WG1" and has 4 stars and repeats. Feels like tin or maybe pewter? 3" in diameter.

Hoping someone can ID this. Thanks for helping.

Maybe for a different kind of cartridge.

I think you may have half of a genuine vintage condom tin there.

Charlie may be right. They usually came 3 to a pack. I dont know what Co WG1 would stand for but here are some condom tins to compare.

Percussion Primers came in tin cans, is that what you are looking for? You can still buy them in tins.
