OK, here is my latest what is it. Found on a site where we have recovered everything from Rev War artifacts and 1810-1850 war artifacts. Last find of the day and hoping this one is a winner-

It reads- "Co WG1" and has 4 stars and repeats. Feels like tin or maybe pewter? 3" in diameter.

Hoping someone can ID this. Thanks for helping.

Maybe for a different kind of cartridge.

I think you may have half of a genuine vintage condom tin there.

Charlie may be right. :-\ They usually came 3 to a pack. I dont know what Co WG1 would stand for but here are some condom tins to compare. condom tins.webp
