Scouting out another old area to MD today I found these two iron rings. They are about 3-3.5 foot diameter and are curved. The second picture looks like some kind of bracket to hold the wood wheel in place? The third pic is a bolt with a square nut. Does anyone know if these are the metal part of some carriage wheels? They were found along what looks to be a very very old road or driveway that has since grown over with trees. Thanks

Thanks for the help!

Looks like they are from carriage wheels. They look too narrow to be from wagon wheels. The metal rim is called a " tire". Tony
