i have dug my share of shotgun shells. Not shotgun shell. Maybe just piece of trash

Hmm, close-ups are a tiny bit blurry, it looked like coiled paper inside, though the shape didn't fit - if it's wood inside, maybe the foot of a chair or desk?

i will try and get better pics this evening. But a cane tip did cross my mind..i thought it might be something familiar that i havent ssen
