Took the Equinox out today. Finally!! Went to my "hunted out" 1800s house permission. It was a great day. I dont know what the hinged brass piece is. Any thoughts?

Try taking them sideways. My phone is like that. If I take them up and down, then they post sideways. If I take them with the phone side to side, then they post right side up on the forum.
