Can't title it, I have no idea what this old thing is.

Hi all,

I found this thing about 9 inches down in a field where I have found stuff from the 1800's all the way up to a 1997 Zincoln.
SW PA.

I don't know what metal it is, although I think the cross part is a different metal than the arrowhead shaped part.

What you see here is after some electrolysis and some toothbrushing.

Any ideas?

I am thinking of some kind of brotch where the cross is the pin side and the other side is what have maybe been there at one time and someone ripped it off like an old cameo. Just a guess.

That cross is inset. I don't see hor it could attach to a pin, but maybe?

I could definitely see a clock pendulum. Were you able to find a pic or something?

I doubt the clock pendulum.

It appears to be zinc, with at one time holes in the sides that some thing went into, as well as the slot with the iron part in it.. I have no idea what it was originally.
