Sorry no pics this is my first post. Yesterday I got permission for an 1830 house. I found 16 wheats (5 in one hole) 5 Indians and one toasty large cent. Also my first find I thought was a token but I cleaned it up and turns out it was an 1870 cinco centimos. So no silver but still a good day.

nov 5.jpg ok i figured out how to post pics turns out one of the wheats is 1909!

Try it again from a different direction very slow and very low.
Still you found some really good finds, you should post pix of them.
Congrats!

Welcome to Tnet.:hello:

Lots of explanations why you didn't get silver, but trying again after rain will help increase the odds.

The ground was damp we had rain the day before. I only got one memorial cent and two nickels. The lack of modern coins also has me stumped.

Congrats on these great coins! -Lisa & John

Bound to be some silver, sounds like the area was cherry picked at some point in the past

Nice hunt. Probably some laying there somewhere..Welcome to tnet

Congratualtions on the old coin shooting! :icon_thumright:

Hit that spot again and again- silver'll pop up- GL!!

Congrats on digging a fist full of keepers. :occasion14: As stated earlier, grids that site in multiple directions. It appears to be a great place to swing a coil. :icon_thumright:

I went back yesterday and got 3 more wheats 1917,18,and19 and a 18?? indian. Also got one zincoln and a 1980 quarter.
