Well, my friends and I have been hunting this Civil War Camp site that has been getting bulldozed for about six months now and its coming to an end, they have already cleared the last lot and everything has been picked over by a lot of people. The first day I went in there I found an Eagle Breast plate. And now, it looks like I will be finishing it up with another Eagle Breast Plate! I found it in a very trashy area by an old house site. The ground was loaded with large pieces of iron. When I came across it, it sounded like another old beer can. But in this place, I dig everything including all those large pieces of iron. I had quite a pile of iron and trash when I was done. Should make it easier for others to go in now
Cleaned up nice, has a small bend up top.
Flat button and a rough Eagle Cuff button.
One bullet and it is a Washington Arsenal.
A sterling silver spoon, half of the handle is missing though.
This piece was a surprise, I was digging a target and I cut my hand on this. Its a fossilized piece of wood, kinda cool.
Thanks for looking and HH.
