Cannonball?

Hi all, this was found about 3 miles from the site of one of Oliver Cromwell‘s battle, I’ve been told it’s a weight from a fly press, possibly a cannon ball and one half of a dumbbell set although that would make it 52lb😱😱 so at the moment I’m unsure
