I cannot see the bottom of the stick, but it might be a cane that had a blade attached to it ???

looks like a old wwII German walking stick. cool find.
I am guessing it was probably made in the time frame from 1939_1944.

Looks like a walking stick that Marty Feldman would use for steep stairways ;D although with the "Sign" I doubt it

Agree. I would say this is a pre-Nazi era item. The swastika was widely used as a good luck symbol before the Nazis began using it.

The handle looks like it might be made from animal horn, maybe goat or similar to Pronghorn antelope. That could make it almost any age.
