🔎 UNIDENTIFIED Candle Holder maker marks help

I have this candle holder from an elderly ladies estate sale. It is a soft metal. I was able to easily push a small dent out on the lower rim.
Not sure what the metal is?

Any idea on the maker , metal, and/or age?

I do see “Paris” on it.

It says etain a few times, thats french for tin, Most people would call it pewter.
