Can you submerse the ace 250 coil in water?

Hello my fellow treasure hunters!
I have a question, I know that the ace 250 coil is water proof just like most coils from any brand of metal detector, but I was wondering, does that mean I can submerse the coil in water like a river or a pond, or is that asking for trouble?

IF it says it's waterproof It is Waterproof.

I personally put Hot Glue where the wire Enters the Coil
as a Over Protection on my Coils.

But either way you should be able to submerse it up
to the control Box.

Just make sure the Water running up inside the
Tubes, Can't run into the Control Box if you hold
your detector sidways or straight up un the air.

The tube is hollow, right?

Isn't there some way to put some caulking inside of there to stop the water from running back?
