Looking into getting a shovel. What do you guys use or recommend? I've been looking at Predator Tools just can decide on which one. Are there any other good shovels made by other Manufacturers?

Thanks Pat. I was eyeballing yours the other day. Didn't see the shovel head though so I wasn't sure which one you had. That is the one I have been thinking of buying but wasn't sure if there was something out there I was missing.

I use the same one Chi Town Bruce uses - I borrowed it from Watercolor. ;D It can't be beat!

Everyone is different, but I only use a shovel when I'm in the woods, and then I carry it in a shoulder pouch so it's not obvious.

For parks it's always a hand trowel.

Low profile is the best way to go.

I think you have used it more than he has.... ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Those are all good shovels but I like using my small $10 one frome home depot (its a tiny D-handle shovel).

I just use a Lesche digger everywhere. I use it in the woods too, though watercolor let me use his small D-handled shovel there and that one works especially good when the ground is hard or soggy wet. It's just a cheap one, like TF mentioned.

Got the long mauler, a bit much for the long treks and I'd advise the short version, simply lives up to it's name in tough ground.
