Aquapulse, DetectorPro Headhunter, Fisher F75
Primary Interest:
Shipwrecks
Perfectly round, heavy, pitted, dark brown to reddish brown color with tiny flecks of gold (when held in a bright light)

I thought they may be a type of lava due to the pitted surface but they are too dense and heavy to be lava?

Any educated guesses?

Thanks, Tom image.jpeg

Looks interesting however one has to ask for a few things. Closer pictures from a few angles and some in natural light. A hardness test, specific gravity test if you can do it and possibly a streak test. Just from the pictures it reminds me of garnet but I dont get the gold flecking. Appears to be somewhat machined and may be someones rejects for sphere's.

I think specific gravity won't help much, it seems to be a mixture of some minerals. Do the other tests, though.
