I've had this silver round for a while and i'm trying to identify where it came from (ie-maker) but I have had no luck. It's a commemorative to the first flight at Kittyhawk and it is a "cameo proof" type. It's about the size of an Ike dollar and weighs 39.54 grams. On the front of the "coin" is a picture of the Wright Brothers First Flight with the words- FIRST POWERED HEAVIER THAN AIR FLIGHT and the date of DEC.17,1903 around the outer rim. On the back at the top is the date 1903. Below that is the following paragraph-
JULY 26- First
transcontinental auto-
mobile trip is completed;
FALL- Filming "The Great
Train Robbery" heralds use
of story plot in motion pictures;
Nov.18- Hay-Bunau-Varilla
Treaty grants Panama Canal
Zone to U.S.; Dec.17-
Wright brothers first
powered flight.
On the outer rim are the following marks depicted in this picture, except for the actual picture of the front side
