Can you identify this coin?

I found this coin covered in crusties. Not sure what it was I tossed it in the pouch. When I got home, curiosity got the best of me so I started to clean it. There is a ghost on the front and nothing on the back. What coin do you think it is? I will post what I think it is later.

You should include something in your photos for scale, but the bust appears to be that of a V Nickel. 1883-1912
