Can you identify these astronauts ?

Hey so visiting my mother today made me miss my pops since he is passed on, that and its the house I grew up in for some of it.
was looking through old photo albums and was asking mom about some of the pictures of dad with people I don't know or remember, asked about one of the pics and mom said they were apollo astronauts that dad met while speaking at some convention, subject I'm not sure, my father was an engineer with several different degrees so could have been anything.
pic below my pops is on the left.
Does anybody recognize who the other guys are ? before my time, I was still a rugrat then I guess, or from before I was born, mom does not remember.

Looked like the crew from Apollo 7, but could be wrong. Cheated with Google Images, so if I am wrong, I'll blame it on not having my glasses on.

I just wonder what convention my pops was at, I know there is some NASA place near to where we were in alabama, but I don't know where the pic was taken..I really miss him.
