Been a while since anyone has posted anything. Figure i'll try and keep the forum alive, lol.

Here is a necklace I picked up a couple days ago. Need help. I can't really find another to compare it to for some reason. It has a 14k clasp (can't figure out the mark though) and 14k beads, along with cloisonne beads and green and yellow beads. The green and yellow beads appear to be jade. The pendant the same I think, it's hard to tell because the beads are so small in comparison but I believe it is the same material. What do you think it is actually? I see a dragon or maybe a bull or some other beast with horns on either side of his head. No idea what kind of price to put on it or what to call it.

ps- Sorry the main photo is so blurry. I couldn't get a good full shot to save my life, so I gave up. Still learning my new camera.

Looks like a tiger to me.

The mark looks like the stylized "G" used by Frederick Goldman, but their's also has the "F" before it.

Yeah, after a little research, I have found the same mark here https://www.rubylane.com/item/151662-1884/Vintage-14K-Gold-Cultured-Pearl-Bracelet but it doesn't give any additional info. Looks like a low grade jade and a not so intricate carving. At least the clasp and the gold beads are worthy. Almost makes me want to scrap it.

Carolina Tom- It could be a tiger. If it were more of a quality piece, I'm sure it would be easier to decipher.

It's gorgeous and would seem a shame to scrap it. Would scrap be worth more?

Hi, did you test everything you think is gold on the piece? I have had a lot of pieces w/ various combinations of what you are showing. These are really tough to put a name to.............good luck..............h
