Can You Help Me Identify Thsi?

I found this in the dirt of a recently cleared woods in Indiana. Very heavy, some type of stone/rock, has a "saddlehorn" shape on top. I would appreciate any help in finding out more about this.

Have no idea what it is, but is shaped like a horses hoof.

Part of a statue maybe? I am just trying to think outside the box. If it was a saddle that would be one rough ride. I like it regardless

I think it's the product of natural erosion on a piece of stone compiled of layers of different resistance to erosion
