What type of animal did this shoe come from? and do you think the other is a spur from a cowboy boot?

looks like the shoe came from a 3 toed yak...just a guess..hh.

Looks like a horse shoe that's been bent. The other piece looks like the remains of a stirrup, similar to this one:

I would guess the shoe to be a mule shoe. They are usually longer and narrower than horseshoes.
