Can you help ID this button - T on Shield

Found these today in an old Militia Field in Southern NH now used to grow corn. The one with the T was on the surface and the other (looks like a tombac) about 6" deep. Have 3rd that has too much crude to show anything. Anyone know what the button with the T on it is? Thank you!
