Hello Rock Hounds,
First of all I want to thank the people who have been looking at the rocks I've posted and giving me an education on them. I enjoy collecting rocks a great deal and the folks on this site are making the experience that much greater! Much appreciated!
So I was informed that Jasper tends to have a waxy feel or appearance. This light brown or tan rock has that same texture and feel so I'm wondering if it can also be Jasper. I live in the Puget Sound area of Washington St. From what I've learned much of the rock in this area is from glacial till.
Thanks for any help guys.
