I found this in the silt at the bottom of a lake in Arlington, WA. It looks exactly like a fish, esp the tail area. It is surprisingly soft to the touch and at the end of the (tail?) Area it has greenish looking skin on it. Could this just be a tree branch with rings exposed that looks like the tail or is this an imprint if a fish? Prehistoric fish or recent fish? It looks too much like something to not ask this fabulous community of people what they thought it might be! I appreciate all your help and taking time to answer, you will make my day! Stay safe everyone, love, light, kindness pass it on🥰
