Can someone help to ID this button?

Hi ya'll. I found this button several weeks ago. I know it's a Marine button, but to what time it dates I don't know. In the back it says, 'Scovill MFG Co., Waterbury'

ALright. From what I read in the link is right. This button is dated back to the 1850's. And looking close at it, it does have the MF'G. WOW! That's great. Thanks again for the link CC.
