It has W.R.C. on the bottom. Thanks for the help.

Actually it could be older than William Rogers Co. William Rogers Co did not use markings WRC.

Yours could be colonial. The WRC could be the initials of the maker. What else did you find in the area of the spoon? This may help you to date the spoon.

The only other thing that was kind of old was the bent up piece next to the little key. It has some sort of design on it, and looks like it's silver plated.

That is a neat find. Can you get a closer picture of the WRC mark? Might be easier to I.D. it then.

Style wises it looks late 19th C

Thanks Crusader. Tngirl has a catalog from the late 1800s. She is gonna check it out for me today. I'll let you know if she finds anything out.
