I agree with ToddsPoint, it's ferruginous quartz. HOWEVER, it may be just iron stained. Without seeing better pictures this is my guess. I find plenty of it here in PA.

Probably jasper or agate. Without it being open hard to tell but as this other guy keeps saying they're all chalcdony but diff types. Very pretty regardless

No sorry, its not Jasper, Agate or any other form of Chalcedony, you can tell by the crystalline structure seen in these images. I think Blauer and Gary are on the right track. But I do agree that it is nice looking.
