Definately a frog. I don't know if they use them much anymore with special stryofoam that they have.

Any one notice that suddenly this has become the glass forum? The other day it was the holey rock forum and a couple days before that it was the black rock forum. Interesting how things come in clumps.

Yep, a frog. They sell well on ebay. List it in the appropriate forum, but also in antique marbles if you do sell it on ebay. They are popular with marble collectors (makes a neat display for many marbles).

In the UK they're mostly used for pot ornaments on graves with flowers in. Same as what everyone else said really, just another variation i guess. :)
