Here's the Hall of Fame link for Napolean "Larry" Lajoie:

http://www.baseballhalloffame.org/hofers_and_honorees/hofer_bios/Lajoie_Nap.htm

He debuted in the major leagues in 1896 with the Philidelphia Phillies. Looks like you have a real find there.

"What a ball player that man was! Every play he made was executed so gracefully that it looked like it was the easiest thing in the world. He was a pleasure to play against, too, always laughing and joking. Even when the son of a gun was blocking you off the base, he was smiling and kidding with you. You just had to like the guy."
— Tommy Leach

First ball player to be intentionally walked with the bases loaded, too!

Jackie Robinson was the first Black to cross the color barrier and play in the major leagues. That card would be worth some coin, especially if it was his rookie card. Since it lists the beginning and end of his career it's safe to assume it isn't, but it still might be worth something. Here's the link for Tris Speaker:

http://www.baseballhalloffame.org/hofers_and_honorees/hofer_bios/Speaker_Tris.htm

He's a native born Texan, so that should count for something. ;D The cards you posted in the second set all seem to be commorative cards, so they won't be worth as much as the original issues. The key to the value of these cards is going to be the rarity of the player/date of issue first, and their condidion second. Look on the back and see if you can find dates for them. There used to be a lot of sites where you could price your cards, but I think most of them are subscriber-based now. You can either take them to sports memoribilia conventions or join some of the many discussion lists on the net. You're a long way from his shop, but Noel Barrett who is an appraiser on Antiques Roadshow values a lot of cards and memoribilia for them and could tell you the value:

If the Roadshow ever stops in a town near you it might be worth paying the entrance fee and finding out.

Too me,they all look like reproductions of original cards. I would have to see the backs of the cards for sure, but the Wagner is defiantely a repro.

Seems to me I seen the Wagner in the news as the Highest priced baseball card EVER to sell on ebay for 1.5 million I think.........So you would think that a reproduction to some collectors would be worth something.......couldnt be that many reproductions..........I mean do you guys have one or know somebody who does???

Yes there are a ton of repro's of early valuable cards out there. And unfortunately, all of the ones that I can see look to be more recent reprints of older, very valuable cards. Also, if the Babe Ruth card was similar to these others, then you didn't get taken for much, value wise that is.
Now, if all of those cards were the original, old versions, in the condition that they seem to be in, you could probably retire off of their values.

Get out your magnifying glass and look at the back there should be a copyright date or printing year. I have not seen a baseball or other sports card that didn't have a date. the companies are real touchy about someone stealing their design. Still, nice cards. Stan...

If that's true Monty, don't let it out of your sight - take pictures of it and put it in a safe deposit box asap. Take the pictures to a card dealer and get his opinion before you actually show it to anyone irl. I can't recall the value, but it's astronomical if in really good condition.

Those all look like reproduction cards or "insert" cards to me. Not alot much there $$ wise, but alot baseball historywise. If your son likes baseball, look up some information on each of the guys on the cards and teach him how to enjoy collecting cards for the enjoyment rather than the value.

I'm not a card dealer, but I collect some and have run across a number of those cards. I can try to do a little research for you tomorrow and give you more information on them.

Just as an example Monty - I read where an original Honus Wagner T206 card like the repro. pictured (but original of course) recently sold for over $1.1 million.
