Can anyone read Japanese

I can't. They only taught me how to read English in the schools I attended, but your post did raise a question in my mind though. I wonder really how many Americans can actually read Japanese.:dontknow:

I can't read Japanese but I do have a link to a great Japanese print research site. All you have to do is upload an image to it and it pulls up all the matching images in it's database. You might want to bookmark this one for future reference should you ever need it. My pleasure jtw1313, I'm talking to an expert that lives about 60 miles up the road from me right now about it. He says yours is a 20th century reprint valued in the 80-100 range (maybe a little more) if it's not yellowed like your pictures show. Thanks for posting it, talking to this person has been very educational and a lot of fun.

it says utamaro... the upper one is his han (stamp) the stamp on the back states something to the effect of an authorized reprint
