I found the face by an old house foundation and would like to know more about it if anyone has any info. The Indian Head and a 1950 penny were within 6" of it. The face is cast metal and non magnetic. I've also found dozens of chunks of melted metal and glass, so I guess the house must have burned. Any info would be appreciated. As much as I want to say it is Guy Fawkes :laughing7:, I think you have what is left of a Victorian Era spelter statue. Mrs. Sub owns a couple and the faces of the men are usually are "Three Musketeer-ish" Sub 8-)

If it's Guy Fawkes I suppose I should BBQ the rest of him on Nov.5. I actually learned something trying to figure out who this guy Guy is.

After looking up what spelter is, I think you're right. I can probably guess what the melted lumps are too. I guess I'll just have to make my fortune with the square nails then.

I just wanted to say thanks for all the replies. I know I'm new here, but you folks floor me with the amount of knowledge about some really of the wall stuff that gets dug up :notworthy:. I think there may be a few comedians here too :laughing7:.

Just my two cents, but I think it has more of an Asian look to it.
