This is a very metallic chunk weighs approximately 5 5 and 1/2 lb looks similar to pyrite

Looks like a chunk of slag.

I see now on the left photo. Hmm... Iron Pyrite? I dunno, the bubbles throw me off. Where did you find it?

Hmm, were there any Foundry's near the area, maybe from Long ago? I tend to see it is slag too. Even an Blacksmith in the old days was capable of such cast offs.

No there was a silver mining town aboit 20 miles away

Hmm... I dunno. Those crystals look like pyrite but the bubbles (especially how they are smooth and shiny inside like that) are throwing me off. I have had pyrite with bubbles but none quite like that shiny one. ???
