Was found in Quebec, Canada. I dug up small patch of land for a garden. I found this and 2 other shells. One from dominion cartridge company and one from union metallic or Remington..whatever. I'm guessing i'll find more. It's like a 18x20 foot area. I wonder what was happening on my land? Dudes with .22 caliber rimfires I guess

I came up with this

the S&B from AIM does have a slightly concave base, will try to get a photo up later unless ultra beats me to it. headstamp is RE with an X below forming a triangle, language on the other side of box is French. The English side reads: DESIGNED FOR HUNTING AND STANDARD SPORT SHOOTING/REX-CARTRIDGES FOR SINGLE - SHOT SEMI - AUTOMATIC AND FIRST OF ALL FOR AUTO - LOADING WEAPONS (RIFLES) PISTOLS AND REVOLVERS
trichard from Rimfirecentral.com

It is somehow associated with Sellier & Bellot and produced in Czechoslovakia. Gander Mountain apparently sold it in the last dozen years in the green box shown below

I've never shot .22 lr S&B but have bought a couple different boxes in center fire. It's not all that uncommon. Been having lots of trouble lately on T net being able to view attachments. The photo of .22 S&B box is the only one I could see.

I'm up to 5 now. All with different headstamps. All .22 rim fires. Im not even really looking either. I just stumble upon them when weeding and stuff. Must've been a lot of shooting going on here at one time. What are the odds of finding 5 cartridge cases with 5 different headstamps all in the same area. Maybe more likely than I think, I guess.
