can anyone identify these items

found these two items in schoharie county near an old fort site one looks like a suspender clip found at 6 inches dont know how old or colonial or military the other was found about 100 feet away about 4 inches a bracelet i know the area is and was the breadbasket of the american revolution and some of the first Indians settled there both items have no id on them could the can u help identify

I think yours might be a belt....

The first belts were made only of concha's, with leather thongs used for fastening. Later a silver harness buckle was used, then slides of soft copper were used to attach and slide the concha's on belts and finally elaborate buckles replaced the leather thongs and simple buckles. The use of turquoise and other adornment on concha's date from the 1920's.

or maybe a cloak chain??
