Or possibly indicating someone was lost and fired two flares at the same position.....I have just never seen that raised bottom area on a shotgun shell....or have never seen a breech to accept a shell like that on a shotgun....the few old solid brass shells i have found have no markings on the bottom and are totally flat, if i remember correctly........how about a side view?Found two of them close to each other, possibly indicating fired in double barrel shotgun.
Any Shotshell experts out there? Who made this shell?View attachment 1379469
