Any Shotshell experts out there? Who made this shell? IMG_1235.jpg

Flare cartridge would be my guess

Found two of them close to each other, possibly indicating fired in double barrel shotgun.

Or possibly indicating someone was lost and fired two flares at the same position.....I have just never seen that raised bottom area on a shotgun shell....or have never seen a breech to accept a shell like that on a shotgun....the few old solid brass shells i have found have no markings on the bottom and are totally flat, if i remember correctly........how about a side view?

I think there was a K & Co that was seperate from Kynoch. I see them listed separately on this website.

Probably solved but I'd still love to see a side view and an overall length measurement...it looks to be a fully intact full length brass shell?
