I found this while picking a rock about 2 feet below ground, where water had washed the soil down passed the clay structure. any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Rick

I realize you are new here... but, dang. You didn't provide any info about its size. As seen in your photos, it could be anywhere between 1 inch long and 36 inches long. Aslo, is it made of metal or some other kind of material?

Sorry for the stupidity, but it is about 2 and a half inches long, and looks like bone and yes it could be an antler.hard like a rock.

I have found pieces of dear antlers before with the DFX. Might be the salt in it that set the detector off.
